To all members.

The Committee is pleased to invite you to the season opening on Saturday 28 November.

The 28th will be a big day, with annual general meeting in the morning at 10:00am, followed by lunch and flag raising, then from 1:00pm its sailing races for Founders Cup, bar open and there will be live music from 4pm to 7pm.

We seek your attendance at the annual general meeting, at 10:00am and the more of you that can attend, the better (paid members only).
With Covid-19 restrictions to be further relaxed from 23 November, as announced today by the Premier, we will be limited to 1-person per 4 square metres up to a maximum of 100 inside the building.
We will work out how many that means we can accommodate in the premises for a meeting, and ask that you notify the Committee of your intention to attend the AGM, preferably one week ahead, so that we can manage our Covid compliance. If are not attending, you may nominate your voting proxy, using the form attached. You can nominate any committee person or any member of your choosing as your proxy.

If you wish to nominate to stand for a position on the Committee, please do so using the nomination form attached, and lodge with the Committee preferably at least a few days before the meeting.

Remember it is only one vote per family membership at the meeting.

Reports from the Flag Officers, and minutes of last year's AGM, have been sent to you previously. If you want another copy let me know.

As for lunch and the afternoon activities, bookings will be required, it will be members only, and further emails will follow soon to expand on the details.
