Junior Learn to Sail
Juniors
Our Junior Learn to Sail programs are a fun, friendly, engaging and safe introduction to the sport of sailing and the club community. All programs at SLYCMS are run by Australian Sailing accredited instructors and incorporate games and group activities to develop fundamental skills of sailing.
Juniors begin their sailing journey using club provided equipment (boats and lifejacket) and progress to being independent sailors over about two sailing seasons, where equipment can be loaned from the club, or juniors transition to using their own boats.
Membership for Junior Learn to Sail
To participate in our junior programs, the participants will need to be a member of the club for the duration of the course which is covered in the cost of the course. We hope that you will stay with us and become full members after you finish. Should the whole family like to join the club there is a range of membership options to consider
